Blog clean up

Good afternoon-

I just wanted to give you a heads up.  I am cleaning up my blog and changing things around so lots of posts will be disappearing as I reorganize and move stuff to get ready for my November 1st reveal. It is something I have wanted to do for a long time now and I think you will like it.

Lots of beads on ArtFire.

Pinkalicious bracelet by ShaLayne Originals

Good Morning!

Today I wanted to share with you all a beautiful bracelet made by ShaLayne Evans of ShaLayne Originals. ShaLayne is always challenging me.  She will text me and say remember when you made "this" bead, could you do it again but how about if you layered it with this color.  The beads in this bracelet were the result of one of those conversations.  The first day I made the light color which she loved, but really wanted a brighter color so I made the other bead.  We both loved them together and ShaLayne decided she wanted three of each.  I Love the results, such a beautiful bracelet.  You can find this bracelet as well as more of ShaLayne's work in her Etsy store.

Here is a pic of the two pinks together, and if you would would like to order some of your own, they can be found on ArtFire.

I also have to tell you about the ceramics I have coming up next week.  They are drying now and waiting to be sanded and cleaned before their first firing.  I will try to post a sneak peak picture of them for you on Sunday.  I am so excited about a few of the shapes.  I think you will love them.

See you all tomorrow.

A couple more designs by ShaLayne Originals

Good Afternoon!

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend.  It was cold and rainy here, but that isn't out of the ordinary for this time of the year.  Derek's soccer team won their game on Sunday and advanced onto quarter finals of the state championship so they will be playing again this weekend, 3 1/2 hours away in Issiquah.

I have a couple of more designs to show you by ShaLayne Originals featuring my new ceramic pendants. In the first design she used one of the oval trios to create a pendant with matching earrings.  I love the way she incorporated the pearls to make the design romantic.

Then she used one of the leaf pendants to create a clusted pendant, so pretty and looks like it would be so comfortable to wear.  In the close up photo you can really see how her accent beads brought out the colors in the glaze.

Here is one of my newest tulip sets featuring lavender blush glass.  Yo can fin all my lampwork and ceramic beads on ArtFire.  We are testing some new glazes today and have a kiln full of goodies that will hopefully be ready to show you tomorrow.

Lovely Pendant by ShaLayne Originals

Just a quick post to show you a pendant ShaLayne made with one of my new ceramic pendants. I just love it, the polymer rose and the way she treaded the ribbon through the chain, so pretty!

ShaLayne has a special offer this week so it is a great time to check out her work.

Here are a few of my newest lampwork sets added to http://www.artfire.com/ext/shop/studio/blissfulgardenbeads a little bit ago.
